Short Bio
Roberto Tagliaferri is a Full Professor of Computer Science at the University of Salerno (UniSa), affiliated with the Department of Business Sciences – Management & Innovation Systems (DISA-MIS), where he is the coordinator of the PhD programme in Data Science. He teaches courses in areas such as computer architectures, neural networks, artificial and computational intelligence, and bioinformatics. He is the founder and head of the Neurone Lab, and his research focuses on computational intelligence models and algorithms, with a particular focus on applications to bioinformatics, neuroscience, and medical imaging.
